Really lovely boutique hotel, great location, staff and room.
Room was small but worked for my needs, in a super cute historic part of the city near the square with lots of restaurants. Air conditioning was cold and worked extremely well!
really good small hotel; great location right in the heart of medieval Tours, with view across to half-timbered building. Perhaps the most comfortable bed and pillows I have ever had in a hotel room!! Staff/owners were friendly and helpful. Great stay
Centrally located in the old town. Nice, simple rooms (some up several flights without elevator). Good continental breakfast. Convenient to restaurants.
Small room, but comfortable enough. Breakfast was worth the extra cost, especially if waking up early when almost everything in town is closed. Convenient location in the heart of Tours, but still walkable to the train station or tram.
Great location and a cool historical building. There is no elevator and we were on the 4th floor.Great location in Tours. Average room with limited amenities. Limited services and
Expensive breakfast for what you get. Good value for what you pay.
Great location! Very nice room in the old section of town with many restaurants & shopping within walking distance. It's relatively close to the train station (about 15 min walk), but it's easy to take public transportation or a taxi.
We didn't have breakfast there, but it looked very nice with a well-appointed breakfast room.
The owner (I believe), was very nice when checking in and helpful when we ran into a small problem.
I would highly recommend this hotel, especially if you prefer staying in boutique hotels rather than large, impersonal chain hotels.
Our room was very good value for the money. The hotel is centrslly located, the room was clean and well kept, the staff were very pleasant the breakfast was good. It is a perfect place for a one or two-night stay but we might have felt cramped for a longer stay as there is not a lot of room to spread out.
We had a fine stay at this hotel, but the room was quirky. There is no elevator and the stairs are narrow. The room was a decent size and comfortable, but the toilet was in a separate room from the sink and shower, which was interesting. The walls are VERY thin; thankfully the other guests were not very loud. The reception desk is only staffed from 3-8:30 pm, so there is no option to drop your luggage if you arrive early. The hotel is in a nice location to cafes, so we killed time for a few hours nearby until someone arrived. Overall, a decent stay.
I really enjoyed my stay here! It was very clean and chic, and I appreciated that they had single rooms for a very reasonable price. Felt very safe and nice for a solo traveler. I would have appreciated a tiny bit more clarification about how check-in worked (especially when the reception opened), but that was the only thing I can find to criticize. A wonderful experience, wholeheartedly recommended!
Location was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful.
However, front desk availability was limited and car access was very limited. We were not advised of these two things ahead of our arrival.
A lovely, family run hotel with owners who were attentive and friendly. The hotel is extremely close to a wide array of bars and restaurants as well as the Loire river.
Rooms were tastefully decorated, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The double glazed balcony was effective at keeping the noise out.
If you are looking for an authentic, independent hotel with charm and a warm welcome then you should look no further.
Excellent location in the historic center!
The room was small, but serviceable, with a compact, renovated bathroom. I wish it had a kettle, or tea in the lobby. Reception closes at 8:30pm, and they don’t reply quickly to emails, otherwise polite.
We were only in Tours for one night but L’Adresse was perfect! Very comfortable accommodations, but not fancy. The town was bustling with great restaurants and fun. The hotel owner, Isham, went out of his way to make sure we met our connection for our Backroads bike trip in St Pierre de Corps when the taxi didn’t show up for us in the morning. He took us himself!
The people at the front were so kind! We were having a hard time finding the hotel & they gave us directions over the phone. They speak French (of course, we're in France) and I was having a hard time understanding them. Minutes later she sent me an email with perfectly clear directions. When we arrived they were so welcoming. The hotel is beautiful and in an excellent location!
The location of L'Adresse Hotel is excellent. Our room was on the front with a small balcony and the double windows took care of any street noise.
Room was a bit smaller than expected, but we're used to small rooms in France. Housekeeping was excellent.
We had several days of rain so it would have been nice to have access to the lobby area, but it was closed most of the time. We also had to call for check in even though we arrived within the checkin window. Generally, there was no one at the front desk during most of the day.
