Charming Country Cottage With Large Heated Pool In Monbazillac, near Bergerac

"Gite op een prachtige locatie. Mooie wandelroutes tussen uitgestrekte wijngaarden, afgewisseld met bos en Bergerac dichtbij De gite was supercompleet. De eerste benodigdheden zoals peper, zout, olie, afwasmiddel etc.. stonden er allemaal. Verder een goed Nespresso-apparaat van Krups voor heerlijke koffie. Magnetron, oven, grote ijskast met vrieslades etc... Alles werkte goed en was netjes schoon. Het zwembad met poolhouse en aangrenzende rotstuin was een plaatje. Echt paradijs daar, ik kom er graag weer terug."

"Really good stay. Communication with the host was simple and flexible after a mix up with dates. The house itself was lovely and worked really well for our extended fmily stay. The location is superb and the use of both the pool and the river was ideal given the nearly 40 degree heat. Really enjoyed it"

"Nous avons passé une très agréable semaine dans cette belle maison de caractère. L’extérieur est vraiment magnifique et la piscine est à la hauteur des photos. L’accueil au top et la propriétaire très réactive.Quelques petits points à signaler concernant le ménage : certaines salles de bain n’étaient pas parfaitement propres, il y avait pas mal de toiles d’araignée et nous avons également trouvé des produits périmés dans les placards.Cela n’a pas gâché notre belle semaine dans un lieu plein de charme et une région magnifique."

"Notre séjour avec enfants et petits-enfants -nous étions 19- fut excellent : beauté des lieux, variété des activités permettant à la fois d'être tous ensemble ou de se retrouver qui à la piscine, qui au ping-pong, qui à la pétanque... Aucun souci de confort.Ce beau domaine des Falaises en pleine nature nous a aussi permis de découvrir les beaux sites environnants. L'accueil était plein de promesses et elles ont été tenues !"

"Maison très bien située, au calme, au milieu des paysages verdoyants de la Dordogne, mais proche (en voiture) de commerce de qualité (boutiques et restaurants avec des produits locaux à St Cyprien) et de lieux à visiter dans la région. De belles randonnées peuvent être faites à proximité. Pour la maison : literie de qualité, maison bien agencée, ... La piscine a été très, très appréciée ! Hôte serviable et discret. Pour l’avenir, l’installation de volets sur les fenêtres de toit serait un vrai plus pour préserver encore davantage la fraîcheur quand les températures grimpent au-delà des température habituelles !"

"A beautiful hotel situated in an old windmill, right next to the river, with amazing views. The rooms are lovely, clean and well equipped and the shower is great. All of the staff were extremely friendly, polite and helpful. Our evening meal was wonderful, as was breakfast, with a wide and varied range of excellent, fresh products. You can wander downstairs to sit by the river, passing through a room containing the workings of the old windmill, a bit like a museum, which is really interesting. There is a huge free car park, including spaces with electric charging points."
