I spent a week at this lovely place, looked after my the energetic and helpful owner. My room was bright and spacious, with a small balcony area and a large, clean bathroom. I originally only booked for three nights but extended as I loved the town and this guesthouse so much! I was driven to the train station at the end of my stay. Many thanks!

Nice stay, approximately 30 min walk to beach, only a few minutes to store and starbucks and even to train station only 30min walk. Think it is best to communicate your exact arrival times as the host is not always home. Otherwise an okay stay.

The room was clean and comfortable. A/C was cold, thankfully. The boss was nice and made delicious breakfast. They provided towels, shampoo, and bath gel. The only thing I didn’t really care for was the area, there weren’t a lot of places to eat and it wasn’t very convenient to use the bus. It was close enough to the activities I’d planned though, which is why I booked it.

人情味あるローカルな民宿。

亀山島へ行くので前日に宿泊。新築住宅の民宿で部屋はとてもきれい。場所は頭城駅と烏石港の中間、天気良ければ散歩に良い距離。 帰りはコーヒーまでご馳走になりバイクで駅まで送ってくれて感激。再会を約束した。

前提是，我是一個很注重早餐的旅客，不求多美味，但至少早餐要吃飽，查了很多民宿有的沒有早餐，有的早餐是一人一盤精緻擺盤很美的那種，為了想讓家人住好點，吃飽飽，參考了之前的網路評語，知道這裡是那種buffet的早餐，於是花了5080五人入住，當天晚上入住時，櫃檯先生告知我早餐時間8:30~10:30，我還驚訝最晚能到10:30???(因為通常沒有到這麼晚的早餐)，櫃檯先生還回答我，因為11點要退房啦！我還怕忘記，立刻用原子筆寫在手上08:30~10:30，隔天早上在早餐店工作的我習慣早起，6點多就在房間等待，8點多實在太餓了，心想有些民宿會提早開始，於是下樓去看看，天啊！樓下超多人，好像五張大桌子吧，全部客滿，我心想怎麼這麼早，會不會是有分A棟幾點先吃，而B棟則是08:30，於是我又回到房間等待，總算8點三十多分，我們全家下來準備用餐，沒五分鐘其他房客吃飽幾乎都回房了，還有一組家庭也吃的差不多了，我本來開心的要用餐，發現菜幾乎都快沒了，印象中有一盤好像是炒酸菜，還有一道好像是醃製蘿蔔黃瓜之類的，腦子還浮現網路上大家風評早餐很好吃，但我根本沒夾到什麼啊！是有花椰菜跟豆腐類的我不知道那叫什麼，我們還聽到那桌家庭的小孩要去夾肉鬆，民宿的人還偷偷跟那孩子說，不要夾太多，雖然民宿的人有來問我們夠不夠要不要再來點什麼，我可以用給你，但我從來沒遇過這種事情，實在不知道要怎麼回答，沒有選擇題，我也不知道你廚房裡有什麼可以提供給我，最後有炒盤蛋和一盤水果給我們，謝謝，但我實在不懂，最後那個放餐包的空籃子，為什麼突然放了三個硬梆梆，剛從冷凍庫拿出來，還有結霜在上面的餐包，是要做什麼？08:30用餐是你們說的，餐點沒了沒補菜，卻一直問我們要來點什麼，不是每個人都擅長社交，我們家的人都嚇傻不知道你們到底可以提供什麼給我們，最後那三顆餐包更另我傻眼，旅行中總是會碰到一些特別的事情，也不希望去影響的遊玩的心情，只是分享我自己住宿經驗，說這麼多，我要告訴你們的就是，早餐一定不是08:30，請大家一定要早點下樓用餐，除此之外，空氣好，好停車，還可以看到日出，環境乾淨，退房後，在停車場回頭看看民宿，發現頂樓好像有觀景台，如果想入住的你們，記得問問能不能上去看看，我想，風景一定很美

整體來說對此民宿的評價很好，主人待人親切，早餐也很好吃。 唯一缺點是位置略顯偏僻，不過如果是要去蘭陽博物館參觀或是要去海灘戲水衝浪，則非常適合

What a surprise!

A most unexpected surprise! We arrived at a terrace of fairly ordinary looking modern Taiwanese houses, but on entering (having first removed our shoes as requested and putting on the flip-flops provided) we were faced with a beautifully decorated, western styled, reception area/dining room. We were helped upstairs with our luggage by the little Taiwanese lady (very little English spoken, but we managed to communicate) and given a choice of rooms, again beautifully presented, clean and bright, with modern en suites. The surrounding area was not beautiful, but there was a view of the sea and: or some mountains. There was also a very unusual modern museum near by - quite a feat of interesting architecture! There were restaurants near the Lambo Stay for dinner. Breakfast next morning consisted of typical Taiwanese food not all to our taste but adequate - avoid the hard boiled eggs which are salted and really awful!
