"The water smelled bad"

"I had a comfortable stay here. The A/C works well, and the Wi-Fi was sufficient for my needs. They have a pool and a bar (although I’m not sure how often the bar is open). You will have a key to your room, but to gain access to the compound you will need to ring the doorbell each time you come and go. My Spanish is limited, but I knew I had to pay cash upon arrival. I had a bad experience with a prior hotel, so I wanted a receipt showing that I paid cash. I was told that I couldn’t have a receipt (even after pointing to a receipt pad); but rather they gave me an invoice… fortunately I had no problems, so it was all good. "

"We enjoyed our stay and the house was very clean . We had a few problems that the owner addressed quickly like when the air conditioner broke they fixed it. The manger of property was awesome but the house needs some serious updating, everything metal was covered in rust and cracks in ceilings, walls and the smell of gas from appliances was bad enough to get headaches. The TV was broken, allegedly taken from the neighbors trash can some years ago....but the property manager Jim helped everytime we asked, he made it bearable as he is simply awesome and so very friendly and helpfull. The other people who live in the building are wonderful and super helpful about the town. Being only 31 dollars a night....worth it...even if just to meet Jim :)"
