Well, I’ve stayed in a few horrible hotels in my life, mostly in third world countries, but this one rates a -10 in my book. I always use Hotels.com and they have never let me down, so I’m pretty sure this place got listed by accident. It was filthy. What appeared to be chocolate milk was spilled on the wall and carpet. The carpet hadn’t been vacuumed. There was sand, hair and stains on the comforter, hair and dirt in the bathtub, broken lock on the door and I could go on and on. It was the only place available last minute within a 40 mile radius and had bad reviews, but I really at least expected it to be livable for one night. I asked for another room and the manager showed me two which were comparable. I ended up putting the comforter on the floor and bringing in a blanket and pillow from my car. I have no idea how this placed slipped by the health department or hotels.com. I hope this review will help keep other people from having a similar experience. I also hope enough bad reviews will force the management into cleaning up the place or closing it down.
