"This is a 4 star hotel. Claims to be a 5 starts, but it has no swimming pool (has a jacuzzi a non working sauna and overheated steam room), there is no food past midnight! (they recommend you go to Macdonals down the road) toilets have slight swage smell and the sink has hot water only in the morning, shower is good tho... no direct line to reception and you can hear noise from the rooms next door. Gym has no windows, Breakfast is decent (except Sundays where they stock a lot less, for some reason) Overall, it is 4 stars. Good AC in the room, bed is confortable and good location."

"If we ever make our way back to Porto, we will 100% be staying here again! The property itself is so beautiful; the design choices are perfect. Pool and outdoor area are great as well. What really makes this place so great is the staff. EVERYONE was so helpful and accommodating. Every time you walk in or out someone is there to great you. It made our day :) Thomas and Krystyna are two great employees, just to name a few! Thanks, G.A. Palace for an unforgettable stay!"
