"The property was nicely decorated and within walking distance of the major attractions in Siena. Not sure if it is an Italian thing, but, the ones we have stayed at don’t provide soap for showering. Only downside, and that is not too important. "

"Stefanie & Roberto are fabulous hosts. He’s the chef; she’s the baker and they’re both great at what they do. They helped us by drawing out a map for a driving tour with restaurants in little villages that was just so enjoyable."

"What a find! You’d never know that a lovely well appointed home away from home boutique hotel is behind the wooden door right inside the Via Romano gate. Our rooms were clean and bright with a view of Siena. Our host Ana was so attentive to our needs and gave us great recommendations. Breakfast was varied and abundant and served by another Ana who was very helpful too! With only four rooms, it felt like an oasis away from the Siena hustle and bustle. "Great place. Clean, Friendly, I got to play the piano in the main room, terrific book collection, and a superior variety of food for the breakfast --eggs, croissants, meats, juice, etc. Great views of the countryside and you are about 5 minutes from the closest town. Not much there in the way of restaurants, but if you drive closer to Siena (10 minutes away) you will find some good places to eat. Highly recommend if you are looking for a classic Toscano experience!"
