There was a welcoming package and everything was prepared with hospitable care. The town center is nearby, and a store for groceries is at walking distance. Location was perfect, within walking distance of the old town of Matera. Lots of privacy and parking available. Not only had he stocked the refrigerator and cupboard with goodies, but he also arranged an emergency dental appointment for my husband, drove us there, and acted as our interpreter. During our stay and afterwards, he checked up on us to see how my husband was doing, and he told us not to worry about anything...
