"The property is on the side of a steep slope, very isolated in the middle of an olive orchard. It takes10 - 15 minutes to drive from the village. The major downside is that it is dark with tiny windows showing almost no view. Everything worked. The kitchen could use new utensils. The internet connection was intermittent and didn't work downstairs. There was an extra charge for gas for heating, not mentioned in the web site. The owner was friendly and professional. "We stayed in the l'ovile cottage and it was perfect for our needs. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed having breakfast outside overlooking the olive trees. Make sure to give yourself an afternoon or two to enjoy lounging at the pool. Our host, Nadia, was very attentive and even helped us with restaurant recommendations. The home is a little outside of town so you can't walk to any attractions, but it was easy to get to a grocery and to Spello. The only suggestion to make our stay better...

"Ginestra is a spacious 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment. The grounds and swimming pool are really good and there are views to Assisi (which you can walk to (35-40 minutes). The Property Management team are all very helpful and the food the prepare is very good as well as the local restaurants. On the negative side, we did not have very much outside space and our table and sitting area were part of a shared area where other guests had breakfast or dinner so was not very private. "We zijn zeer gastvrij ontvangen in het gezellige huis met zijn zeer grote omheinde tuin (1000 m) de woning is comfortabel en de gastheren hebben meer dan hun best gedaan om ons welkom te heten. In de koelkast stond al een biertje en frisdrank koud op ons te wachten. De omgeving is mooi en het meer is aangenaam van temperatuur. (Assisi is overigens zeer de moeite waard om te bekijken.) Afscheid was erg hartelijk we kregen zelfs een prachtige litho mee van een van de eigenaren. Top verblijf!"
