"Main property was really nice and owner was helpful with all communications. The secondary house/bedrooms had more of a musty smell and since it was too cold to keep windows opened decided to have everyone stay in the main house, which has plenty of space with futon and couch. Great central location for all the activities we had planned and right on the water!"

"House and location were perfect for our family. Public access was directly across the street and is where we spent a lot of our time. Provided kayaks were a huge hit. Hosts were great! Lots to do in the area. Lake was clean and beautiful!"

"The location was great. The house was pretty great. We had a great week there. The house could have been cleaned better. We found dirty underwear in a drawer, someones birth control in a room and the dishes were dirty. The dresser in one of the rooms was full of junk that made it where we couldn’t use the drawers. We also had to replace the batteries in tv remotes. The fact that we never got a response from the management company on why there was not a shower curtain in the shower and why the listing said part of the amenities there was a kayak/Canoe, but there wasn’t any. The dock had a large rock standing next to the steps into the river that fell multiple times almost falling on us. There was a camera on the back deck and I know it was for the owner to keep an eye on his dock but we had young girls with us and there were uncomfortable with a camera on them while they were in the yard. We covered the camera and got a message that we needed to uncover it. I called at least six times to talk to management. I only got one call back and was told they would get answers to my questions but never gave them. Overall it was a great week. Thank you."

"Beautiful lake, great location close to the sandbar. Separate guest house bed/bath worked out perfectly with a baby in our group. The home had everything we needed and excellent communication with the property owner. We rented a pontoon and could park it at the house. We did day trips to Elk Rapids and Traverse City. Five stars!"
