"A hold was placed on my credit card for incidentals. At 2AM when I turned on the AC, my card was charged again. I called, ask why, the front desk said the fire alarm went off in the room which means I was smoking in the room. I advised the front desk I had not been smoking in the room, asked how to correct it, it was the second charge, and should be refunded. The front desk was rude. Told me to speak with the manager at 8am. At 8 am I was told by the person who came in at 7am, the manager wouldn't arrive until 10am. He said he would check the room to see if it seemed like I was smoking in the room, he didn't find anything that made it seem like I was smoking, he'd attempt a refund but stated I would not be allowed to return to the location. I was only there one night for a funeral and it was a horrible experience. "

"This hotel is barebones. They provide very little, and you have to request room service. The hot water ran out instantly my last morning there. The rooms photograph well but are cheap."

"The parking was easy and secure and the breakfast was excellent. However, there were issues with the room: the heating system failed and it was almost one hour before a technician showed up to get it running. He was great and said he was on dinner break when the call came in. Also, the phone was not working because it was not plugged in directly. Also, the coffee maker did not work. Finally, we were told that we would get a parking discount but that did not happen. The bellmen were fantastic and very helpful as were the folks on the desk. Also, high grades for the cocktail hour. The bourbon drink was fantastic. "
