"Booked Brook Hall for a stag weekend of 12 guys, which Edward was happy to accommodate. It was a fantastic base while we spent most of our time out and about in York (20 - 30 minutes away) and Leeds (30 - 40 minutes away). Thanks for the recommendation of Dougies taxis as well, this was really helpful and they were great with really friendly drivers. Lovely location and house, particularly the garden. "The only negative about our experience is that we could stay for only 3 days. The property was perfect - the location was near the train station, and within a moderate walk from most everything we wanted to do in York. Paul was an excellent host, anticipating virtually all of our needs and addressing them ahead of time. The home was clean, comfortable and lacked nothing."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this flat. The location was perfect - close to the activities in York, but on a quiet street. It's a small place, but worked fine for our family of four. As others mentioned, the stairs are a bit steep and there's a wonky step to get from the master bedroom to the bathroom - but that's just part of being in an old home. "
