Direct train to airport and other cities or tram to historic part of city steps away. Host, Adam, is very communicative and lives on premises-- like saying at a friend's. "Really clean and comfortable and a great welcome from the hosts. Great recommendations for eating out nearby. They do evening meals if requested in advance. There are two saunas at the property which I didn't get to use but if I had the time, would have loved to. Breakfast was perfect. The fried eggs have to be tasted to be believed. Good base for visiting Brussels, Ghent and Brugges. Local restaurant/bar the Café Exter well worth a visit. Plenty of local parks for a gentle stroll. Thoroughly enjoyable break."
