"The Carlton was modern with nice rooms and pretty grounds. Staff was great, scheduled transportation early in the morning to the airport. Surrounding area was questionable, lots of graffiti and we felt a little unsafe on a couple of our walks. But, the hotel has a restaurant and bar onsite."

"Chosen for proximity to Bologna Central station. Sometimes hotels in these areas aren't the best this was pleasantly positive. Quiet, clean room, friendly and helpful staff. The included breakfast was more substantial than I expected, a nice added value. Recommend!"

"This is the second time we have stayed at the airport bologna Hotel and we really truly enjoy having a clean friendly experience. The shuttle is great but it would be nice if they had an earlier shuttle is by the time you got there at 4:00 when the airport opens the lines are incredibly long. Other than that excellent and we would stay again."

"Staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was modern, clean and a good size with a great bathroom. The gym was well equipped but the pool wasn’t in use during our visit. The hotel is convenient for the train station but maybe 20-30 minutes walk from the main square."
