"28-8-21- We left the accommodation just 2 days into our 7 day vacation. It was not secure and a health and safety risk. On arrival, we pointed out that 3 x pairs of glass sliding doors did not lock at all. Next day the owner sent an alleged “locksmith” and told us they were all fixed. Unfortunately, they were not all fixed and we complained again. The solution was to screw them all shut causing a fire escape risk. Wonderful stay in the walled city of Avila
"Very nice old fashioned classy hotel right next to the Cathedral in Avila. The room was very spacious, bright and clean with a view of the Cathedral. The staff was very friendly, helpful and pleasant. The breakfast buffet was very good, served in a spacious and air room. The location was very convenient with parking about 1/2 km away. The historical sites in Avila are wonderful. Walking the length of the wall is very cool."
