臭いにやや難あり

受付の方の対応は良かったです。 しかし、部屋の換気が不十分で 靴や衣類の臭いがかなり気になりました。 換気機能を高めたり 殺菌消臭出来る空気清浄機など 導入したいただきたいです。

Friendly staff, very helpful. The staff spoke very good english. Very clean rooms, shower rooms and public areas of the hotel. Fully functioning kitchen, great for travelling on a budget. About a 10 minute walk to the train station, 10 in the other direction for the main asakusa shopping district. Really enjoyed my stay, had no troubles at all. Be prepared for a little walking, although there are bus stops in the main road Also plenty of convenience store around which is handy. Area is safe, as a solo traveler i felt fairly comfortable walking home at night.

Not too far from the station, this hostel was very clean and quiet. The staff had a good command of English and was also very helpful. For example, the bedlight of one of the girls who stayed in the same room as me broke, and they instantly replaced it. Overall, I would recommend and pick again should I go in Tokyo in the future.

居心地の良いホステル

スタッフの皆様はフレンドリーで、とても良かったです。 ベッド周りの汚れが少し気になったのと、木のベッドなので、人が上にいてもいなくても、きしみ音がします。 神経質な方だと厳しいですが、気にならなければ滞在はとても快適です。 親切なご対応、ありがとうございました！

Séjour très agréable!

Mon séjour au Space hostel Tokyo a été agréable! Tout était vraiment propre! Le personnel parle bien anglais, et l’hostel est situé près de la station de train de Ueno.

Overall the place is nice. The location is good, the place is clean. One thing though is the lack of clothes rack, only one per room. I stayed in a room for 8 and it is really insufficient.

今回初めてホステルに泊まりました。少し不安もありましたが、そんなものは全く無用でした！従業員の方もとても親切で部屋もとてもきれい、シャワールームもとても綺麗でした。外国人の方と少しばかり会話もできて最高の宿泊でした！また泊まりたいと思います！

청결하고 영어구사가 자유로운 유능한 직원

객실과 샤워실 등의 청결도가 좋은 숙소이다. 다만 다인실(10인실)이기 때문에 객실로 늦게 복귀하는 사람들이 있다. 그래서 침대에 설치된 개인 램프와 속삭임으로 다소 취침에 방해를 받기도 하지만 불편한 정도는 아니었다. 영어 구사하는 유능한 직원이 친절하게 응대해 주었다. 첫 방문이라면 우에노 역에서 찾기가 쉽지 않을 수 있지만 일단 한 번 도달하면 우에노역까지 도보로 다니기 적당한 거리이다.

Good place for a traveler!

The bed was very soft and comfy!!! It was located in an area that is close to the subway, and there are shops around, and it was definitely a recommendable place.

Would stay again!

Wonderful hostel, quieter, definitely not a party hostel if that is what you are aiming for. I loved my stay. The staff were beyond accomodating, when I came in late on my flight. Never got to see the rooftop but but the downstairs lobby/living area is nice with a great kitchen. The hostel is a ways walk from the nearest station, but there’s actually a lot to see just 10-15 min walk away.

Depends on who you stay with I guess.....

I have lived here before and it was good. However this time I was arranged to 2nd floor, which was not ideal because it's just right next to shower room. Many people come and go past midnight. Some even talked on the phone very loudly just outside the door. Maybe it's just me being bad luck, cus this time I even had to stop one roommate from talking on the phone in their bed during 2am, which is insane. Also another roommate couples ate pistachios inside the room and made the tatami floor very messy. And their luggages and stuffs are all over the floor as well. Also the trash bin in the room has not been cleaned for more than 2 days... and the 1st floor common area has very strong sense of foot smell... overall... not a very good experience this time...
