Hi! We’re a Tokyo-based family of four who love music, travel, and surfing.
With over 10 years of hosting experience, we truly enjoy welcoming guests from around the world.
Yoko is a skilled nursery teacher and an excellent cook, while Shun brings a global touch to our home with his experiences living in London, New York, and across Asia.
At Happy House, we aim to make your stay in Tokyo cozy and unforgettable.

You’ll have the entire spacious 100㎡, three-story house to yourself, offering complete privacy.
The living, dining, and kitchen (LDK) area is 30㎡, with an exceptionally high ceiling that creates a bright, stylish, and open atmosphere.
With four separate bedrooms, it’s perfect for large families or groups of friends to stay comfortably together.
Happy House is a cheerful and family-friendly accommodation in Sangenjaya, Setagaya, run by a local family with kids!

Happy House is an excellent place to stay! The atmosphere was wonderful and the house was very well maintained. The house is in a nice quiet residential neighborhood, but is in close walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and the Sangen-Jaya station (which itself is just 2 quick stops from Shibuya). The house itself is quite charming and the amenities available include instructions in English, that allowed a family such as ours to live as if at home. There is a great washer and dryer inside that's easy to use and an incredibly relaxing shower (with fantastic water pressure) and a bath. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were perfect for us. Yoko and Shun are kind, very responsive, and helpful as well. Ultimately, our stay at Happy House 3A was great and allowed us to fully enjoy a worry free stay in Japan. My family and I recommend this house wholeheartedly!
