"Stayed here for a night because I missed my connecting bus due to weather delay. Hotel was clean and easy to navigate and evening staff were helpful. They're public bath is generally "no tattoos allowed" however the reception staff had skin-toned medical tape to give me to use to cover up the ones I had (i have 2 tattoos visible while in bath). I had no issues using the facilities otherwise. Recommend staying here if you need a good spot to crash for the night as the bath on the top floor helped relieve some of the days travel fatigue."

"We loved our authentic Japanese vacation stay. Fireworks were a surprise we had not expected. Buffet had a large variety of choices although I am allergic to shrimp and do t like seafood so it limited me. I was still able to find enough to eat each day. Onsen was a new experience for us being Canadian but now we love it and will miss this relaxing ritual."

"We really enjoyed our Japanese style room with a private onsen. The beds were comfortable. It was fun getting to try out all of the amenities in the hotel, and the town of Shuzenji Onsen was lovely."

"The hotel is located in a peaceful area overlooking the ocean. The living room and bedrooms are very spacious, and kitchen is well equipped. Parking is very easy, would highly recommend for traveling with a car."

"We absolutely loved the charm of this place! We didn’t do the breakfast, but we indulge in the onsen, nighttime Ramen, and the ice cream post onsen! The staff was very helpful and kind, and very patient with us using Google translate. We loved our time here!"
