"非常に満足しています。最高のお宿でした。 戸倉上山田温泉全体は少し古い温泉街で、こちらも歴史のあるお宿ですが、至るところにリフォームが施されており全く古さを感じません。 何より掃除が行き届いています。歴史ある宿を「古びている」と感じるか「趣がある」と感じるかは掃除が大事だと実感しました。 従業員の教育もしっかりされており、温かいおもてなしを受けました。 食事の時にご挨拶に来ていただいたとても感じがよく美しいおかみさんが意欲的に頑張っていらっしゃるのだと思います。 応援したくなるお宿です。信州に再訪の際はまたぜひ利用したいと思います。 "

"Not worth it. Way over priced! We stayed one night. Staff are very nice. But the place is of a by gone era. It’s old but not in a charming way. Showers in the onsen are cold and you have to wait for many minutes in order for hot water to come out. The rooms and elevators are old. the outdoor hotspring is on the top floor with no facilities (you have to go downstairs first and shower) and no real view to speak of.
