The Brick House At Currahee

Located just outside of Toccoa, GA on a main road just minutes from HWY 17 and South Carolina, this house is within sight of Currahee Mountain. Between Camp Toccoa and the Currahee Military Museum, this house is on the route soldiers would have marched down to do parachute and rifle training when Camp Toccoa was in operation. With many other attractions nearby, there's plenty to keep you busy!

With three bedrooms, one and a half bathrooms, and a spacious entertaining area and kitchen, this house is perfect for families. Surrounded by trees with a small deck at the back of the house, the house offers a shady spot to relax. Equipped with a ramp on the main entrance and handicap accessories in the bathroom, those with disabilities or injuries can easily access the house.

The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes and cookware as well as a toaster oven, coffeemaker, mixer, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, and dishwasher. There's a king size sleep number bed in the master bedroom, and a double bed and bunk bed in the other two bedrooms. Laundry should be easy with a washer and dryer conveniently located near the bedrooms.

A four car carport is right next to the house and offers additional space for outdoor activities even if the sun is not shining. There's plenty of room for multiple vehicles. Space, power and water are available for RV hookup. The house is solidly built with clay brick which helps to regulate the internal temperature, making it an environmentally friendly choice.

It's a great alternative to a hotel for families visiting the area!

Within an hour to Helen Georgia. This was a very quaint and beautiful home to spend a night in. Communicated very easily with the owner and had most everything already in the home for a nice quiet evening. Def an affordable and nice place. We would definitely come back again

Cozy southern home

Excellent stay

This was our second time staying at this property. We were in Georgia moving our son from PA who will be attending college locally. Such a wonderful place for our family to be together and enjoy an evening of cards and laughs. Plenty of space and such lovely accommodations. Fantastic Stay While Visiting Family

This was the perfect place to stay while visiting family in the area. The house is exceptionally clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. The location was great, nearby family, and the house was so much better than the alternative of staying in a hotel. The host family was very responsive and available if needed for any questions. Highly recommend and we will definitely return here the next time we are in the area.

Very cute house, good space for a smaller group. Felt like coming home after a long day hiking! Good location to many trail options, all within an hour’s drive. Town has a cute downtown with dining options.

Great place for a short family stay

This was a great little place for our family to reunite for a short reunion. Love the barn out back ! We all had a great time and will most likely stay here again. I was able to teach my grandson his first song on the piano and capture it on video !

Thoughtful and comfortable!

Cozy and just like the description said with going to Grandma's! We love that there were night lights in the bathrooms, waste paper baskets in every room, that it was clean, and that the hosts had everything ready to go for us even with little lights on as we came in. The kitchen was well supplied.

Quaint and cozy cottage with lots of parking

What a relief to pull up to this lovely house at 11pm after a long day at the ballpark to see the owner had checked in on us a couple of time to make sure we had what we needed to get into the property. They had left the lights on inside so getting in was easy and the house was perfectly lovely. Three spacious bedrooms and a very nice kitchen with a cute front porch was perfect for us. Would stay there again!

Currahee getaway

Great home with lots of room. Everything we could possibly need was on hand in the kitchen, was definitely a home away from home. Minutes from the Currahee Military Museum and Camp Toccoa. Will definitely be back!
