FILTHY PROPERTY WITH PLUMBING ISSUES!
It’s unfortunate that our first VRBO experience was this one. Upon driving up to the property we noticed the driveway was poorly shoveled and extremely slippery as it had no salt. Floors both upstairs and downstairs were very sticky. The kitchen area had a large pile of debris in the middle. The sink also had a pile of debris mixed with food particles. We then received a text from the host telling us we cannot flush any toilet paper. However the garbage had no garbage bag or a sanitary option to dispose of soiled toilet paper. Disgusting. And to make matters even worse we quickly noticed the upstairs toilet was non-functioning. The host told us he would get the situation resolved in the morning. However it was 10 AM and we still didn’t hear anything from him. When we followed up with a text he responded that he was sending someone over and they should be there shortly. after waiting four hours in the home we told the host to not bother sending anyone over as our group had reservations and need to leave. We did not feel comfortable with someone coming with us not there. Throughout our stay it appeared the entire plumbing system was backing up. Sinks started to clog in addition to the upstairs toilet that was clogged when we got there. 2 of the downstairs bedrooms were extremely hot and the other was terribly cold. We were uncomfortable every night. This host has not business renting out this property because it’s not only filthy but also has major plumbing and heating issues.
