"We booked a private room here last minute and loved it. It is absolutely bare bones, but the price was right, and we were delighted to find out that it was super clean and well accommodating. Would definitely recommend if you need somewhere to sleep and to fix a meal. "

"It is great modern hotel - very friendly and helpful staff and good value for money by Oslo standards. That is probably because it is away from the centre in a fairly uninspiring location. We didn’t have a car so travelled in and out via Okern T-bane station - it’s about a 10-15 minute walk away - not too far, but not super convenient. I wouldn’t like doing the walk after dark and once you are at the hotel, you’re stuck there. The top floor bar and restaurant is pretty run of the mill with a limited menu and, of course, the usual Oslo prices. I don’t mind paying high prices, but it has to be for exceptional food. My only other comment is that everything is very high tech (loved the lifts), but sometimes the controls in the room were a bit too clever by half. "
