"My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of our Sri Lanka trip. The rooms were very big and clean, and it was incredibly quiet and peaceful. The staff were great, and organised a safari trip for us, and a very early excursion to Lions Rock. "The staff were excellent and extraordinary welcoming. We are an elderly couple and the staff took care of us like we were their own children. The chief went out of his way to ask me what food I liked and cooked it especially just to make us feel welcome. That was not necessary but the warmth of the team made our holiday excellent. "Lovely peaceful hotel with amazing cabins. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Pool and bar area was lovely and clean - hard working pool guy there. Breakfast was great buffet style. We went out to dinner to nights we were here but there is a restaurant. 10-15 mins walk from Lions Rock entrance so great location. "

Amazing stay with the kindest staff!

"Our stay at Sigiriya Rock Hide was amazing! Beautiful quiet location with a view of Sigiriya rock from the top level restaurant. The food was delicious and very generous, especially the breakfast. The rooms were comfortable with A/C and hot water (just took some time to warm up but was very nice). The pool was very nice amongst a lush garden and was very clean and the perfect temperature. The staff were so incredibly friendly and hospitable. One evening, it was one of their staff member’s birthday and they invited us to have cake with them which was very sweet and kind. They also helped organise a taxi for us to our next stop in Badulla. I highly recommend staying here!! "

"We loved staying at this hotel and found the setting and scenery very beautiful. the hotel consists of little bungalows inside the forest, right next to the lake. I would like to see more information about the hotel services to be more readily available in the rooms and public areas (ie spa & other facilities). the pool should be renovated and enlarged. Also the hotel should provide some paddle boats and kayaks for rent so that people can enjoy the beautiful lake."
