"My husband and I stayed here with two of our friends. The cabin is the perfect size for a group of 4. It is settled in the middle of the woods right off of the North Country trail. It is a 20 min drive to Cook Forest and 2.5 miles from Downtown Clarion. We were very impressed by the cleanliness of the inside of the cabin. There is a main bedroom and a smaller bedroom upstairs. You have to go through the main bedroom to get to the full bathroom and the rooms are right next to each other. We knew about the close sleeping quarters prior to this and it wasn’t an issue for us. The sheets were clean and fresh. There is also a half bathroom downstairs. There is a complete stocked kitchen with a stove/oven and a full size fridge. The outside of the cabin, though needing a little bit of care was also very nice. We enjoyed hanging out on porch. There is a charcoal grill included. We really enjoyed the fire pit. The owner got us hooked up with firewood. He was extremely responsive to all of our needs and easy to deal with. This property does advertise a dock, which is a hike through the woods or a short drive around the corner. We did go to that area and really enjoyed the viewing platform. However, there did not seem to be what we would consider a dock at the bottom. There are very steep stairs down to the river that would be difficult to carry a kayak down. That definitely was not a deal breaker though. Overall, we had a really great stay and would definitely come back again."

"My fellow Mom of Twins friend and I had not met up face to face in 24 years! We needed a special place! This cabin was perfect and lived up to expectations! Clean and cozy, comfortable and cute, it had it all! Loved making s’mores on the fire pit in back. The rocking chairs on the back porch perfect for morning coffee, cozy living room for long chats, comfortable beds and 2 bedrooms which was exactly what we needed! Only request I would ask, add mirrors in the bedrooms, makes it easier to get ready in the morning, (smile) but that’s ok we shared the bathroom mirror! Loved this cozy cottage, memories were made, and we will be back for another visit soon!"
