"This unloved house had inadequate amenities (e.g. kitchen utensils were lacking, pans were uneven making cooking difficult). We arrived in height of summer and the house was a sauna (no AC), making for a very uncomfortable stay. One of the nights, backyard neighbour from hell blasted music at max volume from dusk till after 2am (speakers were directly pointing to our bedrooms and living area), we had 3 young kids who were not able to sleep. "Very happy with accommodation and location."

"Location was good, being walking distance to One Mile Beach and the sand dunes. There were also a couple of coffee shops within walking distance. The accommodation was not very clean. There was a smell of dog, sticky carpet, stains and lots of dust behind the mattresses and in the toilet area. Price was reasonable but even for an older furnished house the cleanliness issue was not expected."

"Amazing location - the beach is a hop and skip from the backyard! The place was perfect for me and the kids as it was a simple home and the property manager was so lovely and accommodating! Highly recommended and would stay again hopefully in the summer!"

"Such a beautiful location. We didn't have to go anywhere. Beach right in front and the house had everything. Was quite surprised by the full kitchen pantry. Also, loaded with books, games and toys. Kids absolutely loved it. They didn't want to leave! Wished we had a few more days. Time passed by too quickly."

"The property is very peaceful and relaxing. The bungalow is farm rustic, clean and comfy. The open outdoor kitchen is very well stocked and it is a lovely place to sit at night and have dinner or early breakfast with the birds. The fresh eggs were also very appreciated! You are a ways on country roads from most things so bring what you need with you and relax. Sandy and Rossi are great hosts. TV is DVD only which was fine for us. "The property was clean, well equipped with LOTS of stuff provided to keep children and dogs entertained. The location is great, being central to both Diamond Beach and Black Head. The owners were very welcoming and honest. Our daughter lost her mobile phone and Dianne went out of her way to ensure it was sent back to us via express post. Fantastic home and well worth the spend. We will be back!"

"Location is perfect being so close to the beach and bush walks. We were delighted with how spacious and light the house was as well as being well heated in late July. It was fitted out immaculately except for the lack of a dryer. Planning on rebooking again for next year."
