"We came in late but had a very warm and nice welcom and good and helpful contact with the owner. The house was complete with everything you need, and for the first evening and morning there also was some food present. We had a stay of only 3 nights, but would have liked to stay longer. Hope to come back in future."

"Aw what a lovely stay we had at the bungalow. Deceptively big and laid out so well for families. Very homely. So equipped to be able to cook and the welcome basket with bread, eggs, butter, milk and weetabix was so welcome as shops aren’t easy to find and have short opening hours! "We had a fantastic stay at Cliff Cottage! Marie could not have been more welcoming. The cottage is really clean and comfortable and stocked with everything that you might need. Super dog- friendly. The location is beautiful- a stone’s throw from the beach and there are lots of outdoor activities, not least walking, to do on the island. We’d definitely come back!"

"My husband had always wanted to visit the Outer Hebrides and we could not have found a better location to achieve that ambition. The house is practical and well equipped with everything you could need. There are wonderful views from every aspect and you are within easy reach of many beautiful beaches and places of interest. The situation is extraordinarily quiet and peaceful but there is a shop supplying most everyday needs just a short drive away and the town of Stornoway can be reached in about 50 minutes. Christina, the owner was consistently helpful, even when I managed to lose the house key on a nearby beach! All of us, ranging in age from eleven to 74 had a wonderful stay and I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to escape the hustle and bustle of 21st century life for a while."
