We would like to have had our dinner in the hotel but the menu was basic in the extreme. Burgers, burgers and more burgers. To be fair the hotel had just changed ownership two days before our stay, so hopefully the evening meals will improve."

It was great to have 2 ensuite bathrooms. "Warmed welcome by our host with a tour of public areas and our room with garden patio. Loved tea/coffee and snacks on offer at any time and delicious home made bread at breakfast. Stunning views from lounge and local path into Stirling meant no driving to dinner."
