Various sports can be practised around the lake: from trekking to mountain biking, from horse-riding (on the special trails for hikers) to wind-surfing and sailing in the port of Tignale. The lake is famous for parachute jumps from the exciting rocks overhanging the lake, paragliding and hang-gliding (Malcesine). Local attractions include the Vittoriale, Salò, Riva del Garda, Limone, the famous Gardaland amusement park and the many water parks.
