"What a gem! One of the most unique places I've ever stayed. The attention to detail was remarkable - for instance they turn on a mild spotlight after dark so you can still enjoy the beach, whether you are out on it OR the view from your bed or patio if you're inside, almost like a moon glow, the ceiling in our room had little dimmable led lights in the shape of the big dipper, there is a hose to spray off your feet at the path to the beach, there was a towel warmer in the bathroom... "We LOVED the property. Very nice experience to walk out the door onto the beach. For those reading this, I highly recommend going out in morning at low tide, turning left, and walking down to where the Alsea River outlets into the ocean. Lots of harbor seals playing in the water and lounging on the sand. "This is generally an OK house. The kitchen is well equipped, and there are plenty of blankets and towels…BUT, it is not as the listing represents it. The photos are not current of what you can see from the house! There are no “sweeping views of the ocean” from the ground floor. You get a sweeping view of a sand dune. From the upper floor you can see the ocean, but not the beach. Getting to the beach is a hike over the sand dunes – not great if you have any mobility issues.One of the queen...

"This was the best place we stayed on our Oregon Coast trip! The room was clean, large, much more than I ever expected. I love that there was an icemachine! The views from the balconies were beautiful. The beach access was steep but I think that is to be expected. Check in was super easy and check out was even better.
