A lovely homely one-bedroom apartment situated in central Puerto del Carmen, located only 200m from the beach road in Puerto del Carmen. The living area is bright and spacious and has a flat screen TV, free Wi-Fi, leather sofa, dining facilities. Patio doors lead to the sun terrace with patio table and chairs. The large communal pool has plenty of sun beds and offers a quiet relaxing atmosphere. A sandy beach is only a 7-minute walk away, 2 good sized supermarket and many bars, restaurants and shops are nearby. We have internet TV with a full selection of UK channels, films, series and sports plus channels in various languages. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and a good selection of pots, pans and crockery for the days you want to eat at home. There is an indoor and outdoor dining table. The bedroom has a comfortable king-sized bed, safety deposit box, mosquito netting on the window and stand-up fan. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower, WC, single wash basin, washing machine, hairdryer, bath and pool towels are supplied. A small well-maintained complex with established gardens is ideal for anyone wanting a relaxing holiday yet only a 2-minute walk to the beach front and local amenities. The large swimming pool is cleaned daily, the pool terrace is spacious with plenty of sun beds. The area is completely flat so ideal for anyone with walking difficulties, no hills to climb.

Excellent accommodation, very clean and well equipped. Very convenient for the beach and seafront. Pool area is tidy and cleaned regularly, lots of sunbeds available. The complex was quiet during the day and night. Our host, Sue, communicated with us and was really helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
Fantastic stay in a quiet and convenient location, sue is a wonderful host who accommodated all of our needs and made our stay fantastic. Property was well equipped and clean, pool was great too. Only downside is no air conditioning which can get rather hot, but we managed with the provided fan :)

Had a lovely stay at this ideally located property. Grounds were well maintained and felt a safe complex. The apartment was spotless and modern and contained everything we needed for our break. Hosts communicated really well, couldn’t recommend more highly - this is our first time booking a privately owned property and it’s been a pleasurable experience.

Location is great, no hills to clean unlike other places we’ve stayed in the area.
Very good had wee problem leaky when rain came but all fixed bye eric and sue within hour very very good i would defo recomend luved it 😀 defo be back x

Stayed here for 3 weeks and this lovely apartment met all our needs. Well located and comfortable. Communication with Sue was good and we were happy with our stay. Sad to be home from lovely Lanzarote!
Only negative comment is regarding sun beds around pool - they are old and needing replaced.
We had a fantastic stay at the Barranco Seco apartment; comms with host Sue were really easy before arrival, and was just a call away when we needed help with the key code. The apartment is spacious, clean and really well equipped, with a terrace that catches the sun all afternoon. The complex is quite quiet but friendly, exactly what we wanted, and in a brilliant location – two minute walk down to the beach road with great restaurants and bars, five minutes to the main beach, and easy half hour walk either to the Old Town or up to the huge Playa de las Pocillos. Definitely hoping to return.
The apartment is in a good location, a Taxi from/to the airport is 15-20euro's. Very convenient for the local Spar shop or a 20 minute walk to the larger Mercadona supermarket along the strip.
The main strip is only two minutes away with no steep hills until you get to the Harbour at the far end of town.
The apartment has everything that you need, on a nice quiet, friendly complex with a mixture of Spanish and English residents. Close to bars, restaurants and shops.

Fantastic Spacious Appartment in a good location with a short 15/20 mins to Playa Grande.
The rental process was very easy and the owners responded quickly. Information on property address with access/ WiFi codes plus other info provided a couple of weeks before booking date. A couple of extra pillows in the bedroom would have been nice and an extension lead for the fan helpful.
The beds around the pool have seen better days. The cleaning of the pools improved during our stay. Beforehand sand in them wasn't filtering.
Fantastic location. Less than 5min walk to the closest beach area and also less than 5min walk to the two closest local supermarkets (Spar and HyperDino). Lots of choice of restaurants etc to choose from within 5mins walk. Also there is bus stop and taxi rank less than 5min walk opposite the Casino. There is a great path and a well used cycle path (with some cycle hire places available) all flat, and it will take you from the old town harbour right up to the airport.
Accommodation is situated in a complex with mix of residential and holiday lets. The patio area gets the sun all day but there is a parisol for shade if needed. Rooms are plenty big enough for a couple and the bedroom has lots of storage. The apartment has everything you could need for a home away from home.

On arrival gated access was straight forward. Entry to the apartment nice and easy with secure keylock on the wall.
First impression of the apartment was nice and bright. Sofa was leather recliner and maybe a bit used. Coffee table was a bit cracked on top.

Full working kitchen with all utensils. T.v with every channel you could ever want.

Bedroom sleep quality was good. Memory foam mattress had developed a lump going straight down the middle, was good as it was like a single bed.
Only one little visitor in the whole week on the last night . It did a runner as the wife entered the toilet. Not a brave little cockroach.
Would i use this apartment again ?. I certainly would without any hesitation.

Apartamento de verano chiquitito, pero bien ubicado
Quedamos muy contentos con el apartamento. Se trata de una urbanización regentada o, al menos, frecuentada por bastantes británicos. No tuvimos trato directo con los propietarios del inmueble, más allá de emails, aunque demostraron plena predisposición y nos dieron todas las indicaciones necesarias para disfrutar de nuestra estancia.
Con respecto al apartamento destacar que se trata de un apartamento chiquitito (1 habitación, un salón con cocina americana y un baño), aunque cabe destacar su terraza donde podrás desayunar/comer/cenar de manera muy agradable.
El único pero es que el apartamento NO cuenta con aire acondicionado… y os podéis imaginar que frío en julio/agosto/septiembre en Lanzarote no hace, así como que no está excesivamente limpio, sobre todo destacar los utensilios de cocina (sartenes en este caso). No obstante lo último, no es ningún drama y no quita que sea un apartamento perfectamente ubicado y cuidado.
Por último, el vecindario es tranquilo y seguro, pero se trata de una vivienda que tiene a nuestro juicio algunas facilidades para su acceso no legítimo por desconocidos, ya que el acceso es por la propia terraza (cristalera sin protección) y se cierra con una sola vuelta de llave.
La piscina es mediana y suele estar llena de inflables a cualquier hora del día.
En cualquier caso se trata de un apartamento muy recomendable si tienes intención de desconectar unos días y sobre ido si vas a estar fuera de él disfrutando de la belleza de la isla.
Hemos estado muy a gusto, la casa está muy bien, todo muy limpio y cómodo, echamos de menos que tuviese un aire acondicionado alguna de las noches, pero estuvimos muy bien. Esta muy bien situado y la piscina es estupenda
Der Kontakt mit Sue war von Anfang bis zum Ende sehr gut. Die Schlüsselübernahme über die Schlüsselbox hat auch einwandfrei geklappt.
Die Anlage scheint fast ausschließlich in englischer Hand zu sein, was aber auch kein Problem war. Die meisten waren lieb und nett.
Die Lage ist klasse, 200 m die Straße runter und wir waren auf der Hauptstraße mit Geschäften, Restaurants und Kneipen.
Zumindest von dort hat man keinen Lärm mitbekommen.
Dafür leider von den Nachbarn auf der Terasse gegenüber dem Schlafzimmer:
Diese kamen sehr häufig erst um 1 Uhr Nachts nach Hause und haben sich dann noch vielfach 1 Stunde auf der Terasse unterhalten, lautstark gestritten oder auch mal gefeiert.
Es habe sich auch viele andere beschwert, leider haben die sich daran nicht gestört.
Da blieb einem nicht viel übrig, als das Fenster zu schließen. Wenn es warm ist, auch nicht die beste Alternative.
Wir hoffen mal für die anderen Urlauber, dass es sich bei den Nachbarn auch nur um Urlauber handelt....Denn für die Nachbarn kann Sue als Gastgeberin nichts.
Ansonsten bietet das Apartment einen Menge Platz und ist mit allen notwendigen ausgestattet.
