"incredible staff and beautiful peaceful resort make this a great choice. yes it’s expensive but worth it. the area around the resort is very quiet so restaurants etc need a taxi but you really won’t want to leave anyway. it was my second trip and won’t be my last. "

"Had an awesome time staying at Kayangan Villa Ubud. The staff were very friendly, accommodating and professional. I mistakenly booked a villa with private pool but didnt realize it didnt have the rice field view so worth nothing when booking your room, make sure it says rice field view if you want that. Otherwise the common pool has an amazing view of the rice fields. The food was also great, a variety of western and indonesian dishes. I would come back here."

"This was my absolute favourite stay in Bali. Bambootel is a luxurious, boutique, serene and romantic experience. They truly take care of you from start to finish, and they care about making your experience the best it can possibly be. They learn your names and make you feel like a VIP the whole time. We did the private movie and supper night, Balinese massages, and floating breakfast in our villa. All three were the epitome of extraordinary and special. I would highly recommend all three! Our villa was spotless and we were so pleased with the cleanliness. The restaurant had amazing cocktails and fantastic food. The resort feels extremely safe and like you are in a small little community away from the business of the world. Highly recommend this stay. Can't wait to come back someday!"

"The property is beautifully tucked within the village with the ocean at our doorstep! We were greeted with by the friendly staff and a welcome drink. The food was fabulous! The Chef came out and chatted with us. He was warm and friendly, like the entire team. The rooms were unique with the bamboo impressed architecture with mountain and ocean views. It was the peaceful escape we had hoped for. The drive there was complete sensory overload in the most delightful way, lush foliage bursting with village life throughout our 3.5 hour drive. It was a fantastic first impression of Bali for us!"
