No matter how big or small a country is, if you take your time, you're bound to find something unexpected along the way. Of all the things I expected to experience in China, waking up as we cruised along the Yangtze, taking in a deep breath as the fog lifted over the mountains and enjoying a moment of complete silence was definitely not one of them.
