M18 M1 Intersection. This is the point where the M18 ends if you are heading south and begins if you are heading north. The lanes to the left merge into the M1 on very long slip roads.
Grass Track. Although difficult to see on this image the curved banking in the grass is a cycle grass track, or at least one end of it. This track is just one part of the sports facilities of Thurcroft Welfare which the miners of the former colliery would have enjoyed.
