"The resort is immaculate and the staff are incredible. super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The island is beautiful and lots of good snorkelling spots just off the beach. Rooms are immaculate, and if your lucky and leave the decking door open you may even get a wee visit from some of the local wildlife! In short could not recommend this resort highly enough, go and you will not regret it."

"Lovely staff, stunning accommodation, good food, great excursions. We went on snorkelling trips to look for Whale Sharks, turtles and Manta Rays and saw them all super close to us. Prices also weren’t quite as punitive as we’ve seen in the Maldives before (eg champagne for USD50, cocktails for USD12). "

"Safari Island was paradise for us, with easy access to the reef for snorkelling. Facilities were well spread out. With more than 100 guests, the resort experience felt very private. The food was exceptional and 'half board' (full international buffet breakfast and dinner) was enough for us, with our own fruit and snacks. The chefs at the buffet stations were affable and friendly. The range and quality of food is excellent. The tables had linen tablecloths and napkins and attentive wait staff in a relaxed atmosphere. When required, management were responsive and personable. They kindly accommodated our request for a change of room location. The overwater bungalows are a great design, with much privacy and sound insulation. The glass bottom coffee table gave exceptional visibility to fish swimming underneath. The turn-down service and beach towel replacement in the afternoons was a lovely touch, as was the special honeymoon greeting. Absolutely heavenly."

"Overall the stay was good. But the biggest disappointment was Mr. Mahmoud (Island host). Upon our arrival, Mr. Mahmoud was assigned to us as the Island host. We received zero support from him. Throughout our stay we had to reach out to different people to get guidance, information or support. Island host was not available. To one question, he responded after more than 36 hours. And then he never got in touch. Effectively, we were without an island host- which was extremely disappointing. This probably, would be the reason that we do not intend to visit Raddison Blue Resort Maldives again."

"This small hotel oozes warmth and friendliness. The staff is always on hand and ready to help. The rooms are well-appointed and clean. Great mattrasses on the beds. Incredible value for money. The hotel right on the beach and its private beach is the best on the island. The views from the room are gorgeous."

"I was debating between several islands within the Maldives. I am SOOOO happy my family and I choose to stay with The W. The service was absolutely impeccable, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my wife and 3 year old daughter (especially Ms. Hadi and Mr. Ali). Our overwater suite was stunningly beautiful. The water sports and activities were experiences I’ll cherish forever. "Two things stood out: 1) Chef Ali's attentiveness to my gluten allergy. I was treated to bespoke meals (especially desserts) as well as gluten-free options made available at request. 2) The joy of the staff as they did their job, especially their efforts to upgrade me to the finest property available as a solo traveler. The conditions were pristine."
