"What a cute, peaceful place to stay! Unfortunately, we were only there for a couple nights and didn't get to take full advantage of everything it had to offer. "I stayed in the cottage with my niece and her 2 children for a 2 night visit to New Buffalo. The cottage is essentially a big studio space with a screened-in porch. It’s adorable and very homey. Upon arrival, we found a dead mouse on the porch- the owners had already alerted us to the fact that this might be the case so we were prepared. "we very much enjoyed our time in New Buffalo! The house was very close to a more private beach which everyone enjoyed. We also loved walking through town and eating at Oinks & The Stray. "The minute we walked in, we could see and smell the cleanliness, nothing overpowering (because I have sensitivities), just smelled fresh! "We just needed one night to recover from our day at Indiana Dunes before we headed out of town. It was a great spot. The decor is so cute. Beds were comfortable. Everything worked just fine. We had a little trouble with the key code on the door when we checked in, but the host was VERY responsive and quick. Hardly a moment of delay accessing the property."
