"The view and wildlife sightings were great. We saw deer every morning and evening and a bear one morning walked right by the kitchen window and sunroom.The bathrooms were clean but there was still paper wrappers from candy on the floor in one room when we checked in and furniture was very dusty.The single bed in the basement was not level and the mattress on one of the beds needs to be replaced. You felt like you were sliding out of the bed. There needs to be a notebook with all of the checking in/out and directions for everything instead of directions taped every where or having to use an iPhone to scan a barcode. ( not convenient for us old folks.) We could not find outdoor lights switch to turn on lights around the spa for night safety or the switch to turn on garbage disposal."

"Great older home private location walking distance to the dock. The entrance to dock is approximately 1/4 mile easy walk. The Steps to the dock are very steep and long. Nice dock but no ladder to swim from the dock. Great location on the lake close boat ride to area of the restaurants and shopping. Kitchen very well stocked. Big 6 bedroom house 2 bedrooms in basement the humidifier helps with summer humidity. Nice covered porch for morning coffee and large yard with fire pit. Host and Hostess were very pleasant to deal with."

"It was a wonderful rental for families. The house was great but what made it really awesome was the mini golf, pickleball, par 3, catch and release pond. The kids also loved the pool is was the perfect size for our four kids."

"Our yearly family gathering brought us to Walking on Water this year. It was absolutely a great choice. Immaculate in every way, with 7 bedrooms, 4 full baths and 2 half baths, there was plenty of room. Waterfront is perfect, an easy walk to the dock for swimming and boating. Kitchen is stocked with everything you need for cooking and dining. Dine inside at the table that seats 12, outside under the covered deck or out on the open deck. Our biggest surprise was the EV charger as it was not listed in the house description. Two of our family members drove their electric vehicles and another would have if they'd known there was a charger in the driveway. I did have to contact the host, not because of a house problem, but because a bear turned over the dumpster. They quickly responded and it was uprighted and back in action. We all agreed that Walking on Water surpasses all of the homes we've stayed in."

"This is a beautiful home in a quiet, neighborhood with all the amenities and accessories needed for a family getaway or group vacation. There are three different decks with seating, a gas grill, an outdoor dining table and the hot tub and firepit. We enjoyed watching the deer play just outside our windows. A few notes - all bedrooms have queen or king beds; none with two twins. Also, both full baths are jack-and-jill style (i.e., shared). The house is across the street from homes that back up to the lake, and you can see a bit of the lake through the trees, but there is no access to the lake within walking distance - you have to drive to the state park or other locations. Also, it's about a 10- to 15-minute drive to various shops, restaurants, etc., and 20 minutes to the biggest grocery store."
