"This is a really nice place to stay. Located in a small village close to nature with a lovely riel overlooking the river. A nice change from my normal stays at the normal hotel chains. The host was really nice and service minded. "

"Nice location and quiet surroundings. I arrived around 4.30pm to find no one around and had yet to receive my email with lock key code, I know arrival was stated 5pm but I would expect to receive the code day before. Message arrived shortly after and I was then able to know which lodge and code. Spacious and immaculately clean, equipped for short self catering stay as necessary. "Absolutely couldn't wish for a better place to relax and recharge our 'parent' batteries. Beautiful place with a great and friendly service. Completely tranquil and romantic. Really enjoyed our stroll throught the vineyards and around the estate with while playing a fun game of quiz. Thoroughly recommend this place, in parcular to couples. "

"We spent a lovely few days with Jean-Phillipe and Michelle in this very tranquil and beautiful part of rural France. Jean-Phillipe had some local wines available to sample and also has a BBQ that can be used and a games room. The swimming pool was very clean and everything very well maintained. It’s a short drive to Saumur where there are shops and restaurants and activities such as bike hire. Would recommend."

"Staff are great , rooms comfortable and breakfast is a good start . Parking is very restrictive but I parked opposite in Saint Laud , great parking here , 2 minute walk to HDF .. 👍"
