Here’s a word of warning though regarding getting there….its not an easy ride up from the village on a very narrow very poorly maintained road. Not for the faint hearted. It also takes a good 30 minutes especially if you need to use the tuk tuks to get up."

"Beware non-Muslim guests! This is a dry hotel, and apparently consumption of alcohol is prohibited anywhere on the property. This was not disclosed prior, which is unacceptable! We were a couple staying one night only. We had the suite with a balcony on the 3rd floor. Booked through Expedia. The room is spacious and well presented. Good view over the river. Breakfast was excellent. Now for the bad: we were told as going up to our room in the lift juggling beer and wine bottles that consumption...

"The hotel is located very convenient near the temple of the sacred tooth relic. The staff is incredibly welcoming and helpful. We came by car and could park at the hotel car parking in front of the hotel. From there we were incredibly friendly and sufficient guided through the whole process. Within no time we were in our rooms.. with a nice few and wonderful balcony. The diner and breakfast were wonderful. The owner of the hotel can be proud on this staff group!! Also the Barista across the street was a big plus."
