What is most noteworthy is the very professional, well trained and delightful staff in both the hotel and the restaurant! Would stay at Sandburn Hall again and would recommend it to a friend. "

Marvellous friendly ,helpful staff, good quality breakfast/evening meals , comfortable bed/pillows, fluffy towels, good selection of drinks in the bar, comfy seating in bar , fab Edwardian hotel with a must see staircase and thick plush carpets. I used multi story car park across the road Friday night to Sunday noon £21. I would certainly go back to the Royal hotel. "

"I have given five stars all round as it was well deserved. The bed was very comfortable, there was a wine cooler/fridge and a safe in the room, plenty of hanging and drawer space in the triple wardrobe. The room was much better than we had expected. "
