"We absolutely loved the location of the Lighthouse Inn. Situated right on the Atlantic ocean and we were lucky enough to see a great northern lights show. Breakfast was outstanding and it is situated close enough to both the airport and the blue lagoon."

"I was only here for an overnight layover, but I was very impressed with the room and property. I arrived into Iceland way too early to check in to the room so I decided to take a taxi from the airport and wait around until I was able to use the emailed code that the hotel sent me to access my room. While I was waiting, the cleaner asked if there was anything she could do for me and when I said I was just waiting to access my room, she immediately got the assigned room ready and let me enter early. I was extremely tired from an international flight and her kindness was extremely appreciated. Just because of the shared bathroom situation, I don't know if this is a place that I would stay in for more than just a couple of days, but for my long overnight layover, it was perfect. They were also able to call me a taxi in the morning which was very helpful. Overall, a good place for a long layover"

"My flight into Iceland was delayed by quite a long time so my time at Hotel Duus was cut a lot shorter than I was hoping for. What I was able to glean about the hotel though, was that the place is very close to Keflavik airport, is very easy to find and is very clean. Unfortunately, I was only here for the evening but everything was clean, the gentlemen at the front desk were very helpful in checking in at a very late hour and getting a taxi back to the airport at a pretty early time. If I were to come back to Keflavik and need to stay the evening at somewhere close to the airport and easy to find, I would definitely come back."

"The Viking hotel is a very unique experience which is what we were looking for. Since we were 4 people in our party we stayed in one of their cottage rooms. Reminded me of girls camp from long ago. It had a loft with 2 single beds and a bunk bed plus single bed on the main floor with a bathroom on the main level. It was very clean as was the main hotel. Staff was very helpful in getting us taxi's and the morning buffet breakfast was very good. They had a resturant on site also that served outstanding food. They even had a couple that sang around the dining room. Very good option to the basic routine hotel experience. "

"Close to airport for an early flight. Breakfast buffet was good. The Tokyo restaurant located inside the hotel was fantastic! Walkable to town centre. Would recommend and stay here again! "
