"A beautiful cabin, on the Hvammstangi peninsula, perfect landing spot for trips to the sea seals, and travel to the surrounding area. Viktor was responsive and very helpful with reccomendations. Highly recommend."

"Le chalet est tout neuf et fait partie d’un projet ambitieux en cours de plusieurs chalets. A l’intérieur, tout est neuf et confortable. Les lits sont particulièrement confortables.Notre hôte Viktor a été très disponible pour nous. Il nous a recommandé quelques beaux spots. "

"Nice enough little hotel on the side of the road. Our room was tidy, but there was definitely something going on with the bathroom. They had an oil incense thing going to cover the baseline odor, which I couldn’t identify. The combo was like something caught fire in an outhouse. "

"The best hotel we stayed in Iceland. Real nice bedding, clean bathroom and nice lobby with bar open until mid-night. After long day travel, this was the best place to relax and rest. Glad we picked this hotel. "

"We absolutely loved our stay here. The cabin was clean and quiet and had lots of amenities (it was like a mini house) We would gladly start here again. "

"We loved our stay! The staff was incredibly kind and the property was so clean. The pool and hot tub were beautiful as was the view. Our room was spacious and right next to the bathroom. There was a dining room with a large variety of food options as well as a full kitchen for guests to use. We had free internet as well. Sorry our stay was only two nights because we would have liked to stay longer!"

"Brand new, cozy cabins with beautiful views in a secluded area! The cabins are located a few minutes off of Route 1, we found them without any issues. Our 2WD vehicle had no problems getting there. There're many windows and plenty of natural light. As nights tend to be on a colder side, we appreciated how well heating worked. Great water pressure in the shower. The host is wonderful. Informative, responsive, and proactive. Thank you for taking care of us, Viktor! "

"This was a wonderful surprise. The 3-person room turned out to be an apartment (1/4 of a building, I think), right on the water. Loved watching the birds from our porch and able to pop out to walk and watch the sunset. The apartment is renovated from one of the original Blonduos buildings and has been furnished with an old-time aesthetic. The sitting room was great. The kitchen has everything you need to eat at home (in Iceland, that saves a lot of money). Breakfast was provided back in the regular hotel and was typical Icelandic (plus a waffle maker) and excellent."

"This was a good stop on the ring road when there are not many options in the north. Room was clean, cozy comfortable and adequate. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was very good. Breakfast was greatly appreciated, but there was not as many options as other hotels we had stayed at previously. Overall a good choice for a one-night stay."

"Superb new cabin with great views of the Icelandic wilderness....a few minutes drive from route 1.Nice as cosy inside, perfect for a night's stop over or longer. Would be great for Northern lights viewing.The cabins are so new, they don't show on Google satellite images yet...follow the pin. "
