The home was decorated beautifully and very comfortable. The location is greta for seeing many of the small towns in the area.
We had a wonderful stay in this nicely appointed rental property ! A very convenient location ! Beds are wonderful and hosts are super attentive and helpful
We decided to take a long weekend at this property, and it was the best choice we could have made! Close to all kinds of things to do, comfortable and cozy house with a movie room (which we used on the rainy day). Hosts were welcoming and responsive. ,
My family and I loved our second stay at this vacation rental. We stayed for a week with family visiting, including our grandchildren. Everyone enjoyed the lovely and welcoming accommodations, with our grandchildren thoroughly enjoying the movie room! The host, Hunter, was once again very attentive. Thank you for another wonderful stay!
We really enjoyed our week here. The house is well located between Rockland and Thomaston and close to US1 allowing for an easy drive to all the cutest mid-coast villages. The place is well appointed with all the comforts of home including a well stocked kitchen. The movie room is a great way to spend the inevitable rainy day in Maine.
My wife, son, and had a wonderful stay, at this lovely home in Thomaston, ME. The home was very clean, organized and well appointed. Hunter, the host, provided very clear instructions on check-in and check-out, making both processes smooth and efficient. He also remained in close contact with us, welcoming and encouraging us to contact him should we have any questions or needs. Would definitely stay at this home again when visiting family in the area.

Perfectly Appointed Stay in a Great Location.
I had a wonderful stay at this property! The home is very well-appointed and comfortably furnished, making it feel like a true home away from home. The location is great—close to local dining and activities, yet the quiet neighborhood makes it feel peaceful and private. Even though it’s not secluded, the nearby street wasn’t an issue at all.
The layout of the house is ideal for families, with plenty of space to spread out. I wasn’t traveling with kids, but if I were, this would have been perfect for them to explore and have their own spaces to relax. There are multiple cozy areas to either watch TV, sit with guests, or just get some quiet time.
The fire pit in the yard was a great addition, and the hosts were very responsive and attentive throughout my stay. Overall, I highly recommend this property for families, groups, or anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and relaxing stay.
This is my favorite kind of place to stay at. The welcome book included everything we needed to know, even diagrams giving the locations of various utensils, appliances and supplies. Everything is labeled, making it so easy to take care of cooking, dishes, laundry, garbage and recycling. There are pots, pans, and small appliances available – you could even bake in this kitchen if you are so inclined. Plus there were plenty of cleaning supplies, towels, blankets and pillows. I found the king mattress very soft. There are small smart TV’s in each bedroom. I didn’t use the children’s room, but I thought it was a nice touch to put chairs for grown ups in there, and a collection of books to read the kids at bed time. Oh, about the books – there are plenty of those for all ages. There’s a room upstairs for sitting/reading/working/meditation. It’s got a loveseat and a desk and a nice chair, no TV. The décor includes live plants, another nice touch. One thing to note: it’s not secluded. Neighbors are pretty close, and so is a relatively busy road. Traffic isn’t particularly loud, but you can hear it. There’s a street light near the intersection, but you can still see stars at night. The one bathroom is downstairs, all bedrooms are upstairs. There are no closets, but lots of drawer space. The hosts are responsive and caring, we really appreciated that. Thank you!
Very cute house that was fully equipped for our stay. Great location for touring around Maine to see the sights. Communication was excellent with the host and we would definitely stay here again!
The space is beautiful and fit our party of five's needs very well. We were there for a Reading Rendezvous- the many cozy reading nooks made this a perfect location. The decor was lovely, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, and we were close to many places to eat as well as the ocean for seaglass picking. The host is an incredible communicator- even putting together a book of where to find things and places to eat and visit. We all highly recommend it.
Overall a great place to stay with the family. We watched movies and used the big kitchen for breakfast and dinner a few nights. Accommodating for all ages. The host communicated well and made sure we stayed comfortably. My family and I were all comfortable and happy with our stay. I would stay here again!
The decor in the cottage is adorable, and it's very well organized for a group or family. Plenty of room, great entertainment options, many places to retreat with a book. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals. The location is a short drive to all the local highlights: we did the Farnsworth Museum, Cushing, Tenant's Harbor, lobster rolls in Port Clyde. And we had a snug little movie night the evening we stayed in. Good AC and heating--we had to use both as the temperature ranged from 80 down to 57 in classic Maine style! The host is very quick to respond to questions and communication was very smooth. We all enjoyed it very much.
First off, the house is clean, has a new-ish feel, and is also very comfortable. It was refreshing to go to a rental property, and they actually have enough dish detergent or toilet paper, and we weren't running around doing that nonsense. The kitchen was a little light in terms of things like oil, seasonings, etc. But we didn't eat much at the house, so it wasn't a big deal, and also not a must from a rental. The fire pit was great, and it was nice how it's in the perfect spot on the property. That also doubled as a nice area where we could throw our dog a ball and run him a bit. The bathroom was clean and well-stocked with towels and toilet paper. And the same goes for the laundry. We didn't show up to just 2 tied pods. One thing that should be highlighted is the beds and abundance of televisions. The beds were very comfortable, and the rooms all had TVs. The movie room is a cool room with a huge television, couch, chairs, and a plush bean bag chair. If you hit a rainy day, that room will be a great asset. Overall, I'd definitely book this property again. It's priced well, has plenty of room for a sizable group, is close to town(s), and clean.
