This house in Thizay was a great place for us to relax and holiday together in France. The pool was great and our children swam multiple times a day! The covered bbq area was a great space to enjoy dinner together. The 4pm check in was later than other places we have stayed and to be able to get in the house earlier would have been preferable. Overall a great holiday in a lovely French house.

Angenehmes Ferienhaus, schöne ruhige Lage und großes Schwimmbad. Alle Annehmlichkeiten vorhanden, gut ausgestattete KĂŒche, 2 Badezimmer ideal fĂŒr Teenager, gute Betten. BĂ€cker, der ins Haus kommt. Der Nachteil war, dass das Öffnen des Dachs des Schwimmbads von Hand sehr schwer war, selbst wenn ein Hilfsmittel vorhanden war (insbesondere mit 2 Personen). Aufgrund der vielen Treppen ist das Haus nicht behindertengerecht. Ein Pluspunkt wĂ€ren auch Insektenschutzgitter an den Fenstern, um nachts bei geöffnetem Fenster schlafen zu können (viele MĂŒcken). Ansonsten eine Adresse, die man sich unbedingt merken sollte!

The property is nicely situated with one other house nearby yet close to the village. Very convenient for exploring the beautiful Loire valley. The property is effectively two houses cleverly linked by the very spacious kitchen. Visiting with our grown up family the layout was superb for privacy with separate bathrooms each side. The stairs are quite steep to the bedrooms especially the mezzanine.and all beds are singles but are arranged together. The pool is beautifully clean and a good size.. It is a really wonderful place to stay and we really enjoyed staying there.

Es war eine sehr schöne Woche in einem etwas versteckt und abseits liegenden Ferienhaus. Wir haben uns auf Anhieb wohl gefĂŒhlt, was sowohl an dem Ferienhaus als auch an der top Kommunikation zur Übergabe und Abgabe des Hauses lag. Das Haus ist sehr gemĂŒtlich und ansprechend gestaltet. Wunderschön die Abende mit einem Glas Wein auf der Terrasse in der Sonne.

Het was een fantastisch huis, heel sfeervol en gezellig, ruim en schoon, echt heel fijn. En het zwembad was heerlijk! Ook het uitzicht en de tuin was heel mooi. De overkapping met goede BBQ bleek een uitkomst: op regenachtige dagen zaten we er toch nog gezellig, en alles smaakte op deze BBQ zoveel lekkerder dan thuis:). Een heerlijke plek, met enorm vriendelijke host.

Wow, was fĂŒr ein tolles Haus ! Eigentlich sind es zwei kleine HĂ€user, die mit einem neuen KĂŒchentrakt verbunden sind. Drei Schlafzimmer, zwei BĂ€der und, was nicht selbstverstĂ€ndlich ist, zwei Toiletten. Wir haben es sehr genossen, nach den anstrengenden Besichtigungstouren im Pool zu entspannen. Danach noch ein leckeres Abendessen in Chinon... super ! Tolle WeingĂŒter, schöne Schlösser, pittoreske Orte in nĂ€chster NĂ€he und die wunderbaren Flusslandschaften... wir haben nicht alles geschafft. Auch das Treffen mit Monsieur Claude musste ausfallen. Aber das ist nicht schlimm, das machen wir beim nĂ€chsten Mal. Vielen Dank auch fĂŒr die prima Betreuung vor Ort. Thomas aus Bayreuth

Le point noir et de taille pas de climatisation dans la maison DerriÚre le bow Windows 35 degrés...pas de volets, pas de stores isolants; dans les chambres sous pentes et autres 37 degrés la journée et 28 29 degrés le soir à 23H donc difficile de bien dormir c'est dommage car la maison et l'environnement sont super Je reviendrai quand il y aura la clim... prévenez moi....

Het huis is heerlijk, de locatie is prachtig. De informatie vooraf is iets te weinig. Bed-bad en keukenlinnen is erg weinig als je zelf de handdoeken moet wassen. Dat is niet erg om te doen, er is alleen geen wasdroger dus ben je afhankelijk van het weer. En in de informatie staat dat er een bakker is op 600 meter. Dat blijkt een automaat te zijn waar prima stokbrood uit komt maar geen croissantjes. Daarvoor moest naar het volgende dorp gereden worden

Een heerlijk huis, van alle gemakken voorzien, erg schoon, waar je je meteen thuisvoelt. Heerlijk om na een lange reis hier aan te komen, een hartelijke ontvangst te krijgen, opgemaakte bedden en essentiële zaken al in huis te hebben, zoals zeep, handdoeken, koffiepads, vuilniszakken, afwasmachinetablet, wc papier etc.

We werden bij aankomst hartelijk verwelkomd. We kregen een snelle rondleiding, alles was dik in orde. Het huis is voorzien van alle moderne comfort. Alleen airco zou nog een mooi extraatje geweest zijn. Toen wij er waren was het er 40° en in de kamer boven niet te doen om te slapen van de hitte. De kamer beneden was nog redelijk koel door de dikke muren. In de omgeving zijn veel kastelen langs de Loire te bezoeken. Je kunt er ook mooi wandelen. Het is er erg rustig.
