"Made the reservation due to a VERY unacceptable and inaccurately promoted AirBnb property. Due to the Fringe it was the only option in the vicinity. Simply went online, found the property, made the reservation and jumped in an Uber. The Scott is a very very nice property however direction signage at university entrance needs to be more clear as we were dropped at the campus summer stay check in area which is still quite a walk to the hotel. The foyer and entrance is elegant & welcoming. The reception is the same with a wonder and very pleasant reception manager - Nora. She listened intently to our disastrous experience and ensured our check-in was seamless and stress free. Nora showed us to our room evening carrying one of our pieces of luggage. Room did not disappoint being very well decorated and clean complete with slippers and robes. My only criticism would be the kitchen closed at 9:00PM so we had no opportunity for dinner. No problem, Nora and some kitchen staff assisted with finding some butter and marmalade/honey as we had a few pastries with us. Again, issue solved in an acceptable manner because they understood we were in a difficult situation. After a great sleep, we checked out and were on our way. Thanks again to Nora and other staff that assisted."

"The bathroom is very good, great design, everything has been thought of, but the sleeping area wasn’t great, it was so small, most of it is taken up by the huge bed frame and clunky faux marble table. We had a really long walk to our room with no lifts There was a wedding on Saturday and our room was literally next to the party! Roof top terrace is literally a terrace, you have to buy your very expensive drink from the bar and carry it yourself up to the roof terrace. Breakfast needs more variety Staff were very attentive and helpful and the location is fantastic. However it’s not worth the amount we spent per night"
