"This is a nice little apartment in the heart of New Haven. It was clean and very well stocked (i.e. the kitchen had everything from plates/silverware, coffee maker, electric kettle, colander, etc. even a tandoor); and there was even laundry detergent. The host clearly wants his guests to feel at home. Also, he responded immediately when I called/texted to ask a question while there. "

"Overall a positive experience. Property was clean and worked out really well for us as location was close to family we were visiting. We are from Florida, and it was cold in CT and the heat worked great so that was really good. Andrew was responsive to requests. Only criticism was in some of the set up. There are no dressers, so you need to stack your clothes on shelves in closet, which was not terrible. Also, the only mirror in the entire place was in the bathroom downstairs (bedrooms...

"We had a wonderful stay. The owner had prepared everything so well for us, even providing some yummy treats for our stay. The apartment was very close to everything we needed to get to on campus. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for campus accommodation. "

"This apartment in a 4 unit building with its own parking lot was on a quiet street. Easy to get to no matter what side of the city I came from and close enough to walk to downtown (6 blocks) and half a block off the famous Little Italy street for food and cocktails and then brunch and coffee in walking distance in the mornings too. The unit had everything you need, fully stocked kitchen and bath, shared laundry. Great mattress and pillows! Easy keypad entry. I’d stay there over and over again!"

"The blankets were little and there wasn't an extra blanket to put on the bed I had to use a mattress pad as a blanket I didn't realize it was a basement The couch was uncomfortable The host was very accommodating when my flight was canceled and I had to change my stay over one day "

"I loved our stay at this hotel! We came in for a night to attend an event in the area and were very pleased by how close the parking is, the cleanliness and appointment in the room, and the swanky lobby! It was an EXCELLENT value and a great hotel all around, especially for the price. Highly recommend! "

"I love this place. Next time I wish I could have a better view. I went there before the new rooms were added. Every time I went there, I stayed in the main building right upstairs from the check-in facing the water with my husband and I absolutely loved it. I was actually married there in the old ballroom. I was put in a room that I faced the side of the building and parking lot. I like it there because you can have your meals there if you want they should put a microwave in the rooms. I grew up there on the shore when I was a kid so it is a very pretty place. I think it’s understaffed. I saw the same woman there almost 3 shifts in a row. I think she was a manager. She was delivering drinks, which I thought was crazy and then I saw her the next morning at breakfast time being the hostess, I said to her, don’t you ever get a day off she said thank you for noticing. She was a very pleasant, nice woman, but I think it’s understaffed. I stayed there during the wrong time of year. It was spring break. Children were running up and down the hallway, which was not appropriate And they were with a parent. That’s what really got me - back in the day when I was a parent of young children, I would never let my children run up and down the hallways but times are different now -not for the better!!!"
