"The place was lovely and convenient. We didn't find a lot to do in the immediate area, but close enough to the metro and walkable to other places. The beds were great; only one bedroom one has an en-suite toilet and the other toilet was in the hall."

The owner’s representatives at Pickaflat were not only kind and understanding but extremely accommodating and patient to answer our questions. "My Maison - Champ de Mars was everything I hoped for! The place was properly set up with everything you'd need, including towels, coffee, a safe, and plenty of storage and organization options to unpack. The layout of the property was narrow and long, with the kitchen on one end near the entrance and the two bedrooms down the hall. For those interested in the view, the bedroom with the Eiffel tower is in the back of the apartment. It is not visible from the main living area. Just a heads up....

"If you want to really enjoy the Latin Quarter of Paris this is a nice property. The location is great. The courtyard makes you feel safe. Key sites of Paris are in easy walking distance. "We loved being so close to everything, yet just barely enough removed from where all the traffic was ~ 1/2 block away. It is a wonderful location and very quiet. The terrace made the space seem even bigger, too. When it wasn’t raining, we got to enjoy the outdoor space. "The communication was quick and precise, the check in process was on time. The place was very cute, but as my partner and I are very tall, it was a little difficult to get around. They were also very accommodating when we had to cut the stay short. Thank you!"

"We loved most everything -- especially the location -- and we lacked for nothing in the apartment. Plus, the staff were excellent. The 2 big issues were 1) We weren't made aware, by the listing, that one has to walk up/down about 70 (old and creaky) steps every time one wants to go into town, or get a baguette, or find a place to eat (ie at least 3 or 4 times a day). And 2) The bed was far too small for someone 6 feet tall, and the board at the head was brutally hard."
