The neighborhood is nice and quiet. This home is only a few blocks walk from the grocery store to the south and a few blocks away from our wonderful main business block with amazing restaurants to the east.
You will have access to basically everything in the home. We will have a lock on a closet that holds our cleaning supplies as well as a lock on the door that gives access to the basement/crawlspace area.
This vintage home has three wonderfully decorated bedrooms. One is the blue room that includes two closets as well as two dressers and plenty of outlets to plugin phones and devices on the nightstands. The second is our master bedroom. This room has a shabby-chic motif, a king size bed, a large closet with plenty of space, a private bathroom that boasts of a newly remodeled walk-in shower with multiple heads and a built in bench. These two rooms are located on the main level. The last bedroom is upstairs, you can get there by going through the laundry room. This room has a queen bed and a twin bed as well as a smart TV with a gaming platform that is hooked up to play some retro games.
The kitchen is fully stocked with all your cooking and dining needs as well as a fridge, an electric stove and microwave. Our breakfast nook features a coffee bar which we have included all you need to make a lovely cup of Joe. What would a kitchen be without a dishwasher, perfectly placed right next to the sink with pods located underneath the sink when you're ready to start it up.
The dining room has a table that is built for multiple people. When you arrive it will be set up as seating for four but it is capable of being pulled apart with extra leaves inside of it to make the table have seating for up to eight people. There are extra chairs that can be used around the room.
The living room has a couch and two recliners as well as a coffee table and of course a smart television that is capable of letting you login to any streaming services you may have a login for.
Unfortunately Thermopolis isn't quite big enough to have public transportation but this home is centrally located. Mack's Market, our local grocery store, is about 4 blocks away and our main road called Broadway has amazing restaurants, fun shops and a natural food store is only 3 blocks away. To learn more about all the things to see and do while in Thermopolis just go to Thermopolis.com it is our favorite website for all visitors.
This home has some unique features due to its age. The floors have been partially leveled over the years but are noticeably uneven in places, and one of the bathrooms has a lower-than-standard doorway that may require some to duck. Because the home was built before electricity, some light switches are located higher up or in unexpected places-- like needing to cross the living room to turn on the lights. These historic touches are all part of the farmhouse's charm, reflecting over a century of life, including generations of vintage phones, laundry equipment, and old time craftsmanship.
