"Was the lovely ground floor area of a larger chalet, with the owners living upstairs. The chalet is located near the top of a small village on a winding country lane, so be aware, if you are coming in the winter you may find this challenging to get up! But it was beautifully peaceful and at the start of a walk either down to get a lovely glimpse of Lake Annecy or up (which we didn't try) towards the rough peak standing above you. "Vi bookede onsdag og da vi ikke efter 24 timer havde fået detaljer om adresse på vores bolig samt hvor vi skulle hente nøgle var vi allerede bekymrede. Der var ikke hjælp at hente hos vrbo og ikke nemt med en udlejer der kun talte fransk. Vi fik dog en adresse torsdag via en datter og et mobilnummer. Da vi ankom 2 døgn senere blev røret lagt på når vi ringede op og da vi endelig fandt boligen kunne vi konstatere der boede nogle andre i vores hus. Så kom udlejer og fik os vist hen til et andet...

Superb hotel close to old town and lake!
"We had a great stay at this hotel. The location was perfect - only a few minutes walk from the old town and the lake. It felt safe. The room was clean, modern and the perfect size for our weekend getaway. Breakfast (at €12~ pp) was very competitive with the other petit dejeuners we had out during our stay. The gratis tea, coffee and croissants from 1pm a really nice touch too. It would’ve been nice to have tea and coffee facilities in the room, but this is a small nitpick. Staff friendly. We would recommend this place to anyone thinking about a short stay in Annecy. We will be back. Merci "
