"We have stayed in many french gites over the years, but this farmhouse in the grounds of a beautiful chateau is exceptional. The location, close to Malestroit and Ploermel was excellent for shopping and visiting the markets and many larger towns were less than 30 minutes away. Helene was a great host, who was friendly, informative and helpful. "Valerie provides an excellent kitchen. All the appliances work perfectly and everything is available to prepare meals. We ate in more than we planned because it is so easy. The location with Port Saint Goustan a few steps from the front door is ideal for a walk. Carnac, Vannes, and Saint Anne d'Auray are less than 30 minutes.
