"Fabulous three days at the Westin Downtown Dallas. Staff were all lovely but Autumn at the reception desk was exceptional. Helpful and caring. Location is very good. We had a twin queen bed room which was a generous size. Would certainly recommend this hotel, with a note that the pool is indoor just in case you wanted to grab some sun."

"When unloading luggage to self park, valet team asked me to move the car 3 times with no regard for helping me with my luggage. Once inside waiting to check in, I was not allowed to have the luggage cart on the lobby rug & was taken from me to move to the other side of the room. Would like to shout out to security team, very cool & helpful… but what does it say about my experience if I was interacting with security team. Make your own choices, I will not be staying here again."

"This is my third stay at the hotel. The location is excellent. The staff is great. However, the design of the hotel is showing its wear and tear. The AC system on the lobby level affecting the restaurant, coffee/coworking lounge was not working properly. This is a big problem for a place like Texas. In my room, there were so many light switches and motion sensors, that simply have stopped working, partially working, had flicker lights. This creates a stress on a traveler who is looking for simple comfort, not mood lighting with one working sink sconce. Whoever designed the electric got carried away and now the hotel is stuck with two many items that do not work. Sadly, to fix, would require a major renovation. You can see this design was done during a period where designers thought it would be cool to enter a room into the bathroom, rather than a hallway. Imagine room service being brought through a toilet area in your room. Hopefully by now the hotel and its design teams have terminated the woke DEI staff involved in those designs and have gone back to designs that have survived thousands of years."

"First time at a Tru by Hilton property. The staff was amazing. I would stay here again if ever in the Dallas area again. When I arrived I found out that I had mistakenly made my reservation for the wrong night, Tish at the front desk fixed everything. As a weary traveler I can not say how welcomed that assistance was. The next morning, Jamie at the desk, was just as helpful. I am generally a Marriott person but this property and staff may have won me over to Hilton. The room was beautifully appointed, clean and inviting. It was convenient to amenities all around. Parking was extremely convenient. Thank you for a great stay."
